The great Godfather of Soul, James Brown, died today on Christmas day.

That sucks big time. As a bass player, it's arguable, that without James Brown, half of the fun funk music I enjoy playing may never have existed. /sigh.

Bye bye James Brown. I suspect Heaven is holding a huge birthday bash today and they're all makin' it funky. "HAH...........ugh.......................Hah......................."
