Jerrrrms
So I've been going to my BNI business networking groups regularly each week. Sometimes a few times a week if there's members to meet or other obligations right? Yeah it's working out.
But lately everyone's showing up to these things sick. Sneezin' and nose-runnin' germ carriers...coming up to shake my hand. Talk about an awkward handshake. My inside start crying out and I feel like running to the bathroom to disinfect myself. Today I met this nice lady who shakes my hand and we talk for a while. She later tells everyone else that she's sick and not to come close to her. Uh..... thanks.
Sure enough..today my throat is feeling a little itchy I immediately ran out to the pharmacy to pick up some vitamin C.
Come on people, if you're sick....stay home! I think I haven't been sick all year. My little germ shelter here at home keeps me SAFE!

Go buy some Zicam, either the lozenges or the nose swabs. It's the only over-the-counter product shown to actually reduce cold or flu symptoms by preventing viral reproduction.
Vitamin C doesn't help unless you are deficient in it for some reason.
Well, it's a habit I picked up from an coworker back in my music store days who would drink a quart of OJ every time he feels like he was getting sick. He told me it almost always worked.
It seems to work for me if I take some Vitamin C JUST when I notice something coming. I'm sure there's come placebo effect going on.
I hear Airborne is good too...of course that's just a multivitamin.
Another theory is ZINC.
Yeah I heard zinc works too. I think I bought zinc once but I didn't like that metallic aftertaste it left. Vitamin C tastes like orange candy. Candy is good.
