No I’m not about to go chain myself to any giant fir tree.

But you know, in my business it’s very easy to be complacent and waste a lot of things. Old project stationery that doesn’t get used because of some small errors, stacks of paper used to prototype projects that sits in a corner somewhere, tools that might be used once and then just gets forgotten.

I know alone I can’t change the world, but as much as possible I’d at least like to change my own bad habits. I’ve got those good twirly bulbs in my office, using cooler led lights by my desk, recycling scratch paper, looking for ways I can make my client’s projects out of eco-friendly materials, etc.

One day at least some tree-chaining eco soldier will at least be able to come up and give me a hug someday. They better wash first though.
