Could it hurt Kingston to smile?\u00a0 Hehe.\u00a0 Nah, trust me, getting a 2 year old to stay still long enough to sit still for a picture was tough work. It might not show in this photo, but mom & dad just spent the last few seconds before the shot coaxing the little guy to “look at the light look at the light smile smile kingston get back here, sit up, stay still, look at the light!” <\/em> Click<\/strong><\/p>\n Christmas went well. I hope everyone out there in cloud land had a good Holiday weekend as well? Having the chance to spend a 2nd Christmas with our little guy was especially meaningful for us this time around because of his major ordeal a few short months back. So he was appropriately spoiled this year with gifts.<\/p>\n If anyone cares, Kingston’s dad is hanging on. Despite the fact I adore the little guy to death, I’d also kill to have a day off…. no kid, work, chores, etc. Just sit home in my underwear with a big fat greasy pizza and a video game for the entire day.\u00a0 But for now, I keep saying my mantra “endure!”<\/em><\/p>\n Business is hanging on there despite my inability to do much marketing or networking these past few months. Last year around this time it was dead slow….this year I’ve actually gotten some brisk work and I have a couple of interesting work already committed and waiting till the new year to begin. It’s always nice having stuff lined up isn’t it?<\/p>\n I even have a small design contest win to announce soon (which apparently I can’t reveal yet until it’s been published). So that’s exciting. At the very least I won a nice italian dinner out in Waikiki and some free advertising.<\/p>\n You know it’s an odd observation I’ve had….I’ve won more random things these past 3 months than I have in my entire life. We’re not talking anything huge, but I’ve won a lot of door prizes and drawings lately.
