What do you think?<\/p>\n<p>I like it. At first it looked like a baby pacifier to me but it only bears a small resemblance to that. Otherwise it&#8217;s very fresh &amp; spirited&#8230;everything I feel like that culture entails.<\/p>\n<p>The more I stare at it the more I appreciate it in fact. The letters of &#8220;RIO&#8221; can be somehow seen in it, all the while it&#8217;s roughly shaped after their landmark Sugar Loaf. Brilliant!<\/p>\n<p>Apparently there&#8217;s a little controversy whether this was plagiarized from another US logo. See for yourself on the <a href=\"http:\/\/adweek.blogs.com\/adfreak\/2011\/01\/brazilian-design-shop-defends-rio-2016-logo.html\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a>. I don&#8217;t know&#8230;while it&#8217;s the same idea, the execution seems very different to me. (via <a href=\"http:\/\/adweek.blogs.com\/adfreak\/2011\/01\/brazilian-design-shop-defends-rio-2016-logo.html\" target=\"_blank\">AdFreak<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>This sure as hell is better than the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.london2012.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">London Olympics logo<\/a> which resembles an act of fellatio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/18331485\">Rio 2016<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/tatildesign\">T\u00e1til Design de Ideias<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While I don&#8217;t understand a drop of the language, there are hints about how they came up with this logo and branding.
