I think they&#8217;re a fun couple &amp; it&#8217;s easy to recognize their talent. Well, apparently I haven&#8217;t seen a post from them in a while&#8230;.because they&#8217;re doing a hiking trip ACROSS New Zealand. It&#8217;s like a real-life Lord of the Rings trip.<\/p>\n<p>They have a site up to follow their journey over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickyandcookie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nicky &amp; Cookie.com<\/a>. It&#8217;s really kind of cool. I envy the fun trip their having, but at the same time I&#8217;m sure their are a lot of leg busting walking along the way that I&#8217;m not so envious of.<\/p>\n<p>The site itself is a good example of this pair&#8217;s creativity. A side-scrolling site that I&#8217;ve always wanted to do but always stopped short because it can be pretty jarring to users having to scroll both horizontally and vertically. I can hear some of my own clients complaining about this because they&#8217;re staring at sites on their 15&#8243; 800&#215;600 laptop monitor.
