I’ve partially given up on recycling. For a good few years now I’ve been a good boy\u2026I’ve collected cans and bottles, saved them up nicely each month and then when I’ve collected enough, I’d skip down to the local recycling van and turn them all in for a few dollar bills. And then it dawned on me\u2026the water I’m using to clean each can and the gas I’m using to drive these cans down turn them in, is probably worse off for the environment than if I just threw them into the garbage anyway? I dunno\u2026basically I’ve changed tactics. Now I just toss all the cans into the bin downstairs for our building. I’m not getting cash back but at least it’s still being recycled.<\/p>\n
