So I&#8217;m officially what I would have considered really old back when I was in my teens. What&#8217;s odd is that the picture I still have of my parents in my dreams is when they were in their early 30&#8217;s\u2026so in some odd way of thinking I&#8217;m older than my parents?<\/p>\n<p>No you don&#8217;t have to feel sorry for me, in fact, I feel still feel pretty young. Despite the fact I haven&#8217;t run a lot lately, I still feel stronger and healthier than I did when I was in my 20s, I can still bang away at my guitar enough to impress kids half my age, I enjoy video games as much as I did when I first discovered Atari at my uncle&#8217;s house. So I&#8217;m ok with this number.<\/p>\n<p>I guess the only frustration I have at this point in time is that I still have a lot of the same bucket list items I&#8217;ve had since I was a teen as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t explored a castle in Europe yet<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t visited the Smithsonian<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t climbed up to Machu Pichu<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t sky dived off a plane (although this one I&#8217;m more and more ok with letting go)<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t bought my Porsche<\/li>\n<li>EDIT: I haven&#8217;t had a chance to snowboard yet (go figure&#8230;Hawaii boy)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>God I hope I can tackle some of these before another 20 years rolls by.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;m turning the big FOUR ZERO this year.
