As always it felt SO short&#8230;really, it was just 2 full days there, so it wasn&#8217;t a big trip. In hindsight I think an extra full day there would have been nice.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We stayed the Hilton Waikoloa Village which turned out to be really nice despite the fact the place is over 20 years old now. I was expecting to be disappointed because I remember going there as a teenager when the place was brand new. As it turned out, I think we were all happy with the stay. The view was awesome, the room was comfortable, it was quiet (I think this is the low season so there wasn&#8217;t many people there).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2966\" title=\"_MG_3675\" src=\"http:\/\/raphaellowe.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/MG_3675.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/raphaellowe.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/MG_3675.jpg 500w, https:\/\/raphaellowe.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/MG_3675-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/raphaellowe.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/MG_3675-140x94.jpg 140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>I have to keep reminding myself, however, that a &#8220;vacation&#8221; with a 2 year old isn&#8217;t quite like a typical relaxing vacation. It&#8217;s should be described as a do-whatever-the-2-year-old-wants-to-do trip.
