Funny enough I actually did very well in English writing classes during my college days. Over the years, I just got lazy and carefree with my writing.<\/p>\n<p>In any event, when I look at some of the copy my clients provide to me for their proposed projects, it often doesn&#8217;t take me too long to recognize that it&#8217;s often too wordy or poorly organized. I then typically send the copywriting work to some of my colleagues who are better suited to fixing the problems.<\/p>\n<p>The other day I stumbled across a great article on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashingmagazine.com\/2011\/06\/29\/five-copywriting-errors-that-can-ruin-a-company-website\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Five Copywriting Errors that can Ruin a Company&#8217;s Website&#8221; <\/a>that&#8217;ll offer you good basic recommendations on how to write good copy.
