So my wife is taking Kingston off to Hong Kong on her own in a few days. This’ll make the first time either one of them have really taken a trip without me. My feelings about this are a bit mixed. Part of me is really jealous that they’re going. I could really use a vacation, despite the fact I know that taking a 2 yr old on a trip isn’t really what could be called a “vacation” in the sense that there isn’t much relaxation to be had.\u00a0Nonetheless, I’m sure they’ll be eating fantastic food and the change in scenery alone is somewhat mind-rejuvenating.<\/p>\n
It’s a little bit panty to say so…but I’ll miss those two. Sure, they both can drive me crazy insane sometimes, but it’ll sure feel empty in the house without them for the next 2 weeks. Nobody reminding me to clean my desk area. And nobody to wipe a snotty pair of hands across my face.<\/p>\n
Yes yes, having 2 weeks to be a bachelor again will have some benefits. I’ll be catching up on movies and there will be some neighbors annoyed at some loud music in the coming days. Watch out…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
