By the way, it&#8217;s interesting that half-years are so important when you&#8217;re in pre-school. No fair that I don&#8217;t use half-years for my age anymore. I digress.<\/p>\n<p>I just found it funny that anything he watches these days are typically followed by &#8220;I want that!&#8221; or &#8220;I want to be that!&#8221;. It doesn&#8217;t help when I tried to introduce him to Scooby Doo the other week on the Cartoon Network it was laden with commercials every 3 minutes. Everything from Barbie Dolls to Spider Man web shooters. It really killed my enthusiasm sharing a nostalgic moment with my boy. All I heard the entire time was &#8220;I want that!&#8230;. I want THAT!&#8230;. I want that!&#8230;.I want THAT!!&#8221; It made no difference&#8230;so long as it was a TOY, he wanted it.<\/p>\n<p>I gave up and promptly changed the channel back to PBS.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My child is highly suggestive at 3&#8230;and a half.
