We spent an entire weekend packing up our house and covering up all our good in anticipation for all the work. And this morning I invited a whole crew of strangers into my home and watched as they begin taking sledgehammers, screwdrivers and crowbars to my once happy home.<\/p>\n<p>I recognize that I shouldn&#8217;t bitch&#8230;being in a situation where we&#8217;re able to afford remodeling our home into something that works for our family is a nice luxury not everyone can afford these days. So I&#8217;m appreciative&#8230;but no doubt it&#8217;s stressful. I think I&#8217;d be just as happy with our old stuff but certain circumstances pushed us into this decision.<\/p>\n<p>No return now&#8230;it&#8217;s either going to look great after all of this or it&#8217;ll be a huge regret. \u00a0Crossing all my\u00a0appendages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So remodeling has begun.
