I really underestimated how uncomfortable it would be after a surgery. No, the cuts and stuff I expected…but after my ear surgery the doc jams a cotton swab (feels like it’s the size of a giant rubber tire) into my ear canal where I have to wear it for a few days until he takes it out later this week. I don’t know if it was the procedure or this thing in my ear, but my neck has been tense for days and I have difficulty opening my mouth more then an inch to eat anything.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile I only just developed enough guts to look at the scar in the back of my ear to see how it looks and it definitely looks like a long pink catepillar has clawed it’s way behind my ear. It’s really gross looking, I nearly fell over from the sight.<\/p>\n
Yeah right about now my wife would be rolling her eyes. I’m definitely a drama queen and I haven’t been easy to live with this past week.\u00a0 On a positive note it’s been a good excuse to take a few “days off” of work and I’ve treated myself a lot with healthy dosages of candy and ice cream to liften the mood. Boy can’t wait till they pull this swab out of my ear.<\/p>\n
