When you ask me what any of my services costs, the quick answer is always “it depends”.┬áThe reason for this answer is that when it comes to custom design or marketing services, there’s never just one solution that works for everyone. Each project is different. Just like those custom motorcycle shows you see on TV, each one of their projects involved different amounts of time, work by different individuals, done for different clients, and has different features.┬áCustom graphic design follows the same idea for pricing. We look at your situation and then we give you our best estimate on what it might take to accomplish your needs.

Recommended Reading

If you’re in the market to look for a graphic designer, I highly recommend picking up a copy of this book called “Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing and Ethical Guidelines”. There’s a new edition that comes out every 2 or 3 years that explains what designers do, what are some of the guildlines we follow to do good work for you, and finally what are some of the expected price ranges you might expect for different types of work. This is a great reference book whether you’re a designer yourself, or you’re the one shopping for a designer.

“Sweet Spot”

That being said, I can suggest typical price ranges you might expect for certain types of work. It doesn’t mean your project will fall within these ranges (we’ve done projects that have fallen cheaper or way more expensive then these ranges), but these are the budget “sweet spots” where we have done the best work.

  • Website Design: $3000 – $8000
  • Logo Design: $2000 – $7500
  • Stationery System: $1500 – $2000
  • Tradeshow Banners: $300 – $800
  • Copywriting: $1000 – $3000
  • Pro Photography: $400 – $600/day

Once again, these are just suggested ranges based off our our experiences and those referenced against trade publications like the Graphics Artists Guild Handbook above.

Every project is unique. If you’d like to talk to us about your project, we’ll be happy to do a free consultation with you. Then we’ll make you an estimate that’s tailor made specifically for you.
