This has gone around a bit. Kern Type and Shape Type are two sites built entirely in HTML5 allowing the designer and non-designer types alike a peek into the world of Typography.
I scored 91 on Kerning and only 75 on Shape. Which was still encouraging because I don’t consider myself that proficient with Type. If you’ve never worked with typography before, I’d give this a few minutes to play around with anyway. It’ll offer you another perspective on how even the tiniest of things effect our design world.
