Did I miss something, is it some special anniversary for Super Mario? Just today I noticed Super Mario crop up in my daily browsing. Who over the age of 20 doesn’t have a soft-spot for this guy. I remember fondly those days when I used to go to the house of a friend who happened to have the first SNES of anyone I knew…watching the game of Super Mario Bros just blew my mind. I ended up eventually getting my own console and I recall playing that game to the point where you could literally blindly jump from any platform and expect to land on some cool part of the map. Anyone old school remember the trick at the end where you could leap over the flag and trick the game into extra lives or something? Ahhh… memories.
