So it’s my wife’s birthday in a few days on the 22nd.

I’m at a loss of what to get her.  STILL?!   Yup.  Hey it wasn’t like I wasn’t watching out…for the past couple months I had been trying to pay attention to anything she’s been interested at to see if I can get a hint of what she wants.

She’s kinda like my dad…impossible to get anything for them.

I’ve gotten her jewelry before.  You know, like a hella expensive wedding ring, some nice pendants and bracelets. She always seems to appreciate it…for about a day.  And then it goes into some mystery storage place somewhere and I never see it again except for once every leap year.

I’ve gotten her gadgets. Like a Canon camera or even an Ipod once.  I got her the iPod and loaded it up with some of her favorite songs right?  It sat in a box unopened for a year to the point where the internal battery was almost pronounced dead on arrival when we finally took it out one day.  Uses these things for a while.  Goes into storage.

Pictures?  Picture frames?  Nope…she’s not a very sentimental type.  She’s got old photos but they’re stuffed away (you guessed it) in storage. She’s always vacuuming up stuff that I find very sentimental to me and when I freak out she’s like, “oh….whoops, sorry”

Maybe eating things?  I don’t know.  We’re going out to eat of course but beyond that I’m stumped.

I KNOW!!  I’m going to get her a storage shelf.
