If you’ve stumbled here for the 1st time, welcome to the Lowe Studio website. It’s a little bit of a work-in-progress, I apologize if things will be changing here daily. Please come often.
The goal here on this site isn’t to give you any great literary work (by all means my spelling and grammar have been horrible since my days of schooling) but rather as a means to bring together everything that I’m involved with under one umbrella.
3 years have passed since I hastily stated Lowe Studio. Now I’m finally able to tie together sites that I only barely had time to throw up during the first couple months of my business. I had my own personal website (which later became my official site), then I threw up a Gallery system to demonstrate my portfolio materials, finally I started my own personal blog at the same time as a way to keep a journal of my progress through these years.
All these years I had wanted to come up with a site that could tie it all together under one roof. Fortunately I’ve been busy enough with work that I’ve never had the time to really work on my own site. Yet during times I HAVE found the time, nothing I ever came up with satisfied me. I find it incredibly difficult to satisfy my own tastes.
So here you have it, the new “official” website for Lowe Studio where I hope to find good materials and resources related to my interests in design. (Remember, design is everywhere…so in my opinion this covers a broad definition of stuff I can talk about here) I think designers look at the world through different eyes. Much to the irritation of my wife, she might often be asking me to pass the salad dressing, while I sit there trying to admire the package label.
If you’re looking to find a graphic designer, you’ll find samples of my work here as well as details about my business that might help you make your decision.
Finally, as I embark upon my first teaching experience this Fall over at Kapiolani Community College, this is where I think it will be a good place for my students to interact with me and find details about their course projects and schedules.
Welcome one and all!
