I took Kingston to his first air show event this past weekend. He’s so much into different methods of transportation at this age we figured he’d love the chance to jump into all the exhibited vehicles. It turned out to be a good experience…overall I think he liked it. Although I’m discovered that he’s very prone to drastic mood changes at this age. One second he could be all raving about the trucks and jeeps that he saw….we’d walk him over so he can hop in the driver’s seat to play, and then he’d back out and refuse to even look in the general direction.

It’s obvious he was probably intimidated or scared seeing some of these vehicles up close. Perhaps once he’s a year or two older these shows will be more interactive for him. I didn’t get the chance to bust out any of my camera gear out to the event. One day I’ll bring that 70-200mm out to capture those Blue Angels and see if my skills have gotten any better since the last time I took those types of shots.
