I thought this was a beautiful pop-up design demonstrated by a designer named Chanzhi Lee.  Apparently it was just thrown together using left-over paper from his other school projects.

I’m impressed.  I’ve never done a pop-up before.  I once visited the office of a fellow graphic design colleage in Downtown and I watched one of their designers work on a pop-up idea for a client.  She was struggling with it but I knew in the end it would probably look pretty neat.  Maybe I should try one someday, she was referencing a “how to” book on pop-up design, I should get one myself and play around with ideas.

I did a search online and found some cute little easy pop-up instructions.  Maybe THAT’s what I’ll do for X-mas this year!  This time I’ll remember to start in September rather then the week before Xmas.  (via: Lovely Package)
