The goal for this particular website was to create a site that could allow our Client to run the site without having to depend so heavily on her designer…in this case, that would be us! Why would we do that? I mean, as much as we love our clients, there are two things we love about this situation: (1) we put power back in the hands of the business owner to control a vital part of her business, and (2) it’s actually a matter of pride to see that the CSS design can hold up against any number of live changes that are put up against it.
We threw everything we could at this site at the time. Right around this time CSS was just starting to show some strengths so I put every detail I could into this one. A custom backend system was designed in to help manage the online bookings that was integrated with Paypal and generated receipts for customers to bring with them for tee times.
