If you’ve been trying to reach me here at Lowe Studio today, you probably had a little touble. Sorry about that.
A freak storm hit our area today which brought all the electric power and internet service down at my office. If there are any emergencies, it’s best to call or text my cell phone at 808-781-9529 today.
Here I am sitting at a Starbucks trying to get some work done…it’s funny reflecting on how much I’m dependant upon electric power these days…
I sat in my office in the near-dark thinking what I could do for the day.
“Hmm…maybe I can make some phone calls to clients”
BUZZZZ, cell phone service was spotty today and without power my cordless landline phones were shot.
“Hmm…maybe I can watch a little TV….”
BUZZZ, my TV worked for about 10 minutes in the morning and then the power brought everything down.
“Um…maybe I can play video games?…”
BUZZZ
“Hmm…I could have coffee…. heat up some breakfast?”
BUZZZ BUZZZZ
About all I could do was sit there watching the rain this morning figuring out how I’d brave the storm to go grab something to eat for lunch.
So sad.

i think it would be nice to have a day like that, so long as the next day i could get back to business. 🙂
I hear ya. Yeah I eventually turned it into a “day off” and slept for most of the day. Only concern is this sore throat I’ve been nursing…I hope it doesn’t turn into a winter outbreak.
