TravellingMoleskine

One of my favorite bloggers, Nicky over at Monster-Munch got me kinda thinking that I’d like to try a Traveling Moleskin project sometime. It looks like fun.

Basically the idea is that you take this Moleskin sketchbook…pick a theme, and then send it to designated people around the world to let them do whatever they want to the pages. Usually people track the progress of the books somehow, and then it eventually lands back in the hands of the original person. I’ve seen these used in gallery exhibitions, but sometimes they’re just kept as personal collections to be shared in some online gallery on Flikr.

I’m not as well connected as some of the big celebrity designers, but maybe this might be a fun thing to do with friends and family. I know my sister-in-law is quite talented with felt figures herself. Some of my former band-members can either draw or are into design too. We gotta do this! Who’s in?

This contribution above was funny. It’s called “Chinese Whispers”.  Get it?  Oh SOO true!
