Recently there was an event where the moon was closest to the Earth in my generation…or something like that. Suffice to say it was going to be along time till it was this close again. Apparently I forgot all about it till the moon was halfway up the sky and so my photos had no scale reference. So I took the approach like an astronomer and tried taking as detailed shot as I could with my humble camera skills. It didn’t turn out half bad.
