It may not be the most comfortable or practical piece of furniture in the world, but I see a little bit of charm in this do-it-yourself footstool made out of old magazine stacks.

My wife has me occasionally dumping out magazines I’ve collected over the months and I always feel terrible throwing them away. I end up putting it in our condo lobby “library” but I don’t think people take to reading old magazines.

So this kind of project has some appeal. Maybe I’ll give it a shot…  I can imagine the damn thing would be SUPER heavy though. (Core77 via Gizmodo)
